Setlist/Stage Setup
The Cassette live band is quite versatile, and can call on a repertoire of about three hours of music. An ideal set will run around one hour or less, and is guaranteed to make all the hipsters dance.
There is a visual element that accompanies the show, which was developed by the band and the fantastic Miami artist Reeve Schumacher. The only requirement for this is a small area for our projector to display on. If this is not available, the story portion of this element, which is conveyed via posterboard, can still be displayed.
The band setup can be reduced in size a bit for smaller parties/venues, but what follows is the ideal, full setup.
3 vocal mics
2 guitar amps, mic'ed
1 bass amp, mic or direct
2 keyboard amps (1 mic'ed, 1 direct)
Drums, all mic'ed:
3 snares
2 toms
1 kick
overheads for cymbals
The drum set and keyboard rigs are fairly large; the guitars/bass are fairly normal. Keyboards need about 4ft by 5ft, and drums need about 4ft by 7ft. To reiterate, however, we've fit this band in pretty small areas when needed.
